Speakers

  • Lorenzo Paoletti

    Universität zu Köln, Historisches Institut, Alte Geschichte, Post-Doc
    Studied Ancient History and Oriental Studies at University of Bologna. He recently obtained a PhD (2023) and held a Postdoc (2024-2025) at the University of Cologne. His research interests include the Hellenistic Near East, Ancient Iran, and Greek Epigraphy. Author of the volume Alexander the Evil: Resistance and Opposition to Macedonian Rule in the Ancient Iranian World—Witnesses, Memories, and Impacts, Diàdema Series, Mimesis Edizioni, Milan, 2025.
