Guided tour Trekking Through History

Meeting point at the crossroads near Biforco Castle at 9:00 a.m. Introduction to the project.

Hike to Castel Leone in Marradi, passing through Biforco railway station and ascending along the eastern slope of the hill. The activity includes a short hike of a few kilometers to reach the castle ruins at the summit.

Visit to the archaeological excavations conducted by the University of Bologna.

At the end of the hike, around 12:00 p.m., lunch will be available at the Urban Center of Marradi.

The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Marradi, the Municipality of Marradi, and the Association of Friends of the History of the Lamone Valley, is designed as an activity suitable for everyone, with the aim of promoting the historical and environmental heritage of the area.
