Abstract
The Europeana Archeology project is part of the Europeana program, the EU digital platform for cultural heritage. Thie institution gives access to cultural and artistic digital content, in order to make it available foe a large public. The activity of Europeana Archaeology project consists in the digitization and meta-data provision of digital objects related to archeology, focusing on the enhancement of European archaeological evidence, including monuments, historic buildings, artifacts and natural landscapes. Through the creation of high quality content, this project aims to raise awareness of this exceptional heritage for citizens, educators, students and companies interested in developing dedicated applications.
