The exhibition “Protecting the cultural heritage during WW2: the experience of the Institute of Archaeology and the public Museum of Bologna” will be launched on the 12 November at 4 p.m.
This initiative takes part into the festival organized by the net Archivi del Presente, of which the Disci Library is part.
The exhibition is held in the Archaeology section of the Library and it will be open from the 11 November 2024 to the 31 January 2025, from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m-6 p.m.
The theme explored is the protection of cultural heritage. The specific topic is that of the the measures taken by the public archaeological Museum and the Institute of archaeology of the University of Bologna during the Second world war in order to safeguard their cultural assets.
The introduction and the panel are available online, both in Italian and in English, in easy-to-read language and in audio version, too. This allows to experiment new fruition forms, in the scope of the Department third mission.
